ABOUT US
Two Groups. One Mission. One Community.
Citizens Alliance for Government Integrity (CAGI) and Coalition to Protect Fort Mill (CPFM) have united with a single goal: to Move Silfab Solar and protect Fort Mill. But we can’t do it alone. This fight belongs to all of us—and we need your voice. Join our growing movement to defend our neighborhoods, schools, and future.

Citizens Alliance for Government Integrity (CAGI)
Our Story
CAGI was born from the energy and determination of the Move Silfab movement. When concerned Fort Mill citizens first united to demand transparency and accountability in response to the Silfab Solar development, they uncovered issues far beyond one project. That collective passion for justice and fairness sparked the creation of CAGI—a community-powered organization dedicated to ensuring that our local and state governments operate with integrity.
Our Mission
At CAGI, our mission is clear: to pursue true integrity in government. We’re committed to shining a light on practices that undermine due process, transparency, and citizen trust—from misinterpretations of zoning codes to violations of the Freedom of Information Act. We hold our government accountable, ensuring every decision reflects the values and safety of our community.
Our Vision
While our focus remains on York County and South Carolina government, we believe the lessons we learn here are too important to keep to ourselves. Our goal is to build a process that not only restores trust in our local leaders but also serves as a model for other communities facing similar challenges. By sharing our insights and experiences, we aim to inspire a broader movement for government integrity across the region.
ABOUT

COALITION to protect Fort Mill (CPFM)
About Us
CPFM is a grass-roots movement, born out of the concerns related to unlawful and unethical developments in Fort Mill, and support of the Move Silfab movement. CPFM believes we all have a duty to advocate for the health and safety of children, teachers, first responders and other vulnerable, under-represented groups. Through well-informed advocacy and effective challenge we engage our local decision makers and elected officials to ensure we protect and preserve our beautiful, vibrant communities where we live, work and play.
